Anne B. Howard, Esq.

Anne Howard, a Certified Family Law Specialist*, has almost twenty years of varied experience in family law. She has been an attorney for nine years prior to which she worked for the San Diego Superior Court. Her litigation experience includes family law, probate guardianships, and juvenile delinquency and dependency. Anne worked for private law firms until she established her own law firm in 2003.

An international perspective

Ms. Howard was raised overseas and brings a global perspective to her work.

• Having grown up and worked in the Middle East and attended British boarding schools, she’s visited many countries in Europe and the Middle East.
• Her love is people from all cultures and walks of life. She sees things differently than other attorneys. She has lived in other cultures, worked with international clients, and has a strong grasp of business matters, both internationally, and in the United States.
• Her staff is also from culturally diverse backgrounds.

• Has served as Minor’s Counsel in numerous guardianship and family law cases.
• Is on the Board of the Juvenile Court Book Club, which brings literature to incarcerated youth to help widen their horizons.
• Is also involved with the Children At Risk Committee of the San Diego County Bar Association, whose volunteers take a mock trial video program and lecture to grades 4-6 in at-risk schools throughout the County. This nationally-recognized, San Diego-developed, program is designed to increase children’s awareness of the legal system
